Yarrow is an easy to grow perennial for the summer border and comes in a range of colours.

There are over 100 species distributed throughout the northern hemisphere, mainly growing in sunny, well-drained meadows.

Varieties with grey foliage are best in full sun and well-drained soil. These are mostly clump forming. Those with green leaves are more suited to richer soils and can have a more running habit.
