THERMOPSIS
PAPILIONACEAE
These deciduous perennials produce striking yellow, lupin-like flowers in late spring, which attract bees and butterflies, and are followed by attractive seedpods.
There are about 20 species, originating from North and South America, Asia and Siberia, some of which can be invasive.
They grow best in a well-drained, sunny site. Established plants resent root disturbance.
