Water Dropwort a genus of deciduous, ground-covering perennials, which are rarely seen in cultivation, with the exception of one selection with variegated foliage. All parts are poisonous. 

There are about 30 species, native to marshland and water meadows throughout much of the northern hemisphere, plus areas of Australia and South Africa. 

They do best in sun or part-shade and are ideal for moist soil or bog garden situations.
